Mill Creek Cottage is located under 15 minutes to Whitianga and just 25 minutes to Hahei and Hot Water Beach.
The Mill Creek Farm Cottage is located 2 minutes up Mill Creek Road and is set on 25 acres.
Our farmland property is home to ducks, a pet pig, chickens, a few cows, sheep and our beloved horses.
We welcome guests to explore the farm while staying.
There are marked tracks to all locations and a forestry walk with lovely views over the valley.
You can bring your dog (if it’s an outside dog) you may even bring your horse (enquiries first).
The herb garden and fresh vegetables are available on request.

There is a lovely river swimming hole adjacent for those hot summer days and a forestry walk with lovely views over the valley.
The Cottage is fully self contained and private with a full kitchen, open plan dining/lounge area, laundry, shower, toilet and patio.
There are 2 bedrooms, 1 queen bed and 1 double bed and a cabin sleep-out that has one double bed.
Minimum stay during peak season is 2 nights (if you wish to stay for 1 night please contact us).

Coroglen Tavern. The Coroglen Tavern is an iconic kiwi pub known for good, honest food and epic summer concerts.
Whitianga Fun Zone. Offers experiences such as kids quad rides, laser clay shooting, soccer golf, outdoor laser tag, archery, paintball.
Beaches within 25 minutes
Base yourself at the cottage to visit some of the Coromandel’s amazing beaches.
Whitianga. Less than 15 minutes from the cottage is the township of Whitianga, an attractive township with a deep-water harbour. Whitianga, is the fastest growing town on the Coromandel Peninsula and is very popular with tourists for swimming, shopping, dining and a number of outdoor activities available year round.
Hot Water Beach. Famous for its naturally heated mineral water where visitors can dig there own spa pool, Hot Water Beach is also a beacon for surfers for it’s beach breaks.
There are some wonderful art galleries and cafes.
Hahei. Hahei, is an attractive beach fringed with pohutukawa trees. It’s a sheltered beach ideal for swimming, boating and fishing. The township has great shops and eateries.
Hahei is a short drive from the beginning of the walkway that leads to famous Cathedral Cove.
