See Milford Sound from land, sea and air with our Flight Add-On option. Complete your Fiordland Extraordinaire tour with a flight back to Te Anau in Fiordland’s only fixed-wing float plane.
Milford Sound with Helicopter Flight (includes Glacier Landing)
This is a stunning scenic helicopter flight up to Mt Tutoko (the highest mountain in Fiordland) where you will land on the glacier and spend approximately 10 minutes on the frozen snow. You are 1800 meters above sea level here, and you will think you are “on top of the world”. If the weather is not suitable for the glacier landing, you will have an alpine landing where you will still be on the snow. Your flight continues back to Te Anau where you will be returned to your accommodation.
