Outside, our little private oasis has its own guest entrance and separate private guest parking. This is totally separate from the main house. There is a separate deck with table and chairs and BBQ and both separate private suites also have their own individual decks so you can sit back and relax while taking in the magnificent views.

Almyra Waterfront Lodge is ideally situated just 30 minutes from Nelson Airport and Kaiteriteri, as well as the renowned Abel Tasman National Park. This prime location makes it a perfect base for exploring the region’s many attractions and national parks, including Abel Tasman, Kahurangi, and Nelson Lakes, all easily accessible by car.
Just a minute away is our local beach, offering safe swimming, fishing, kayaking, or leisurely strolls along the shore, with stunning views of D’Urville Island and Tasman Bay extending to Nelson and beyond.
The Great Taste Cycling Trail passes right through the village, making Kina an excellent stop for cyclists looking to rest for a night or two.
Kina is only a 10-minute drive from the charming coastal town of Mapua.
Situated in the heart of Tasman’s wine and craft region, which boasts the most sunshine in New Zealand, Mapua offers award-winning cafés and restaurants, many located on the picturesque wharf with a smoked fish outlet, craft shops, and a boutique brewery.
From Mapua, you can take the ferry to Rabbit Island, where you can enjoy miles of sandy beaches and forest trails. Additionally, the Grind Coffee Shop in Tasman village serves award-winning coffee and delicious cakes.
