The Cubby House Kaikoura is a unique, two-story holiday home with three bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to six guests.

Parking for cars or vans is outside your house so you can come and go as you please. Motorbikes can park up in the shed to keep your seat dry.
Free Wi-Fi. Keep up with sport, movies or your favourite TV shows. We have so many to choose from: Disney+, Netflix, Neon, Prime, TV NZ, Sky all channels, Sky Sports, Apple TV, Acorn, Mubi, You Tube, Internet all available on the television.
Breakfast. We supply it – you cook it when your ready to eat. Bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, cereal, yoghurt, bread for toast, condiments, juice, milk selection (cow,almond,rice,oat). BBQ on the deck for dinner/breakfast to take in the stunning views.
Our Friendly Animals. You will be able to grab a picture with some of our friendly animals. Cows, Sheep, Pigs, Ducks, Chickens, Guinea Fowl, Trevor the Turkey, aviary birds. Our resident pet animals are our Groodle dog Merle and Bengal cat Dorothy. We also have a fellow deer pottering around the place too. You can even bottle feed any littlie’s we may have about too!

DOWNSTAIRS
You will find yourself relaxing in some pretty comfortable lounges. 1 is electric with 2 recliner seats. Wall mounted TV with heaps of streaming services, coffee table big enough so you can play board or card games, a pretty cool chess table too. Huge double glazed doors to take in the ocean and town view. Â Fireplace will be going if it’s cold or ready just in case a cold snap comes through – plenty wood to keep you warm for a few days and nights.
Queen Bedroom with draws and bedside table – big window to take in the view, bluetooth alarm clock. Freshly made bed with linen from hire company.
Single Bedroom has 2 single beds, a cot, 2 sets draws, bluetooth alarm clock, freshly made beds with linen from hire company.
Laundry with washing machine, dryer and cleaning products so you can catch up on your holiday washing, Â fire extinguisher, smoke alarms.
Bathroom has a toilet, basin and small bath/shower combination – towels, mats toiletries etc. We will be updating the bathroom shortly, but in the meantime it is all still fully usable, functional and kind of a 70’s quirky batch vibe going on.
Games – games and more games! Heaps of board and card games to choose from.
Deck with seating and a BBQ so you have an option to cook and even eat outside on a nice day or evening. There are 2 timber table areas to choose from.

UPSTAIRS
This is all open plan if you think loft / studio style – 1 large open room.
The fully equipped kitchen with enough pots & pans so you can cook a home cooked meal if you decide to stay in!
Plus there is a rice cooker, wok, electric oven with 4 burner hob, microwave, air fryer, all cooking utensils  etc – coffee machine and condiments just bring your additional special food items you want to eat or drink.
We also supply some additional extra food items too!
Small sitting area with 2 lounges and 1 pulls out to a queen pull out sofa bed if needing.
Dining table and chairs that seats 6 and a high chair if needing.
Chest of toys to help keep the kids entertained whilst you’re cooking.
King bed is near the large doors so you can wake up to some pretty ever changing sky, farm, sea views.
Bluetooth alarm clock, sewing kit, medical kit, fire extinguisher, smoke alarm plus more.
