Discovery Centre
Be wowed by the mysteries of science and nature! Explore our hands on interactive science experience! From mirror and optical illusions, to human body, space, magnet and sound experiments, there is so much to see, do, and learn. Perfect for children and adults alike, a perfect way to have fun and learn at the same time. You could spend hours losing yourself in our Discovery Centre. Also remember that this activity is also available in our special priced âVIP Passâ allowing unlimited play for the day of your visit. Price: $20 per person (included in the VIP Pass from $35).
Giant Maze
You’re sure to get lost in our over 2m high giant maze. Explore the maze to find the five questions and five answers on the way to the four corners, or let the little ones find the five hidden animal pictures scattered around. Perfect for the children and adults alike, a great way to spend an hour. Also remember that this activity is also available in our special priced âVIP Passâ allowing unlimited play for the day of your visit. Taupo Mini Golf
The Trickiest 9 Hole Mini Golf Course in Taupo NZ! You might think our 9 hole Mini Golf Taupo course looks easy, but with little dips and raises making it feel like a real putting green from the sand filled astroturf its a lot harder then it looks. The course is set outdoors with a lovely rural background, plenty of large open space with seating where you can relax and watch others while you study the course and your next shot. This 26 par course makes it one of the toughest courses in New Zealand. Suitable for all ages, Groups/Corporates and Schools. We have a range of different sized clubs for everyone wanting to play no matter the age. Our Taupo Mini Golf Course is conveniently located only 10 minute drive from lovely Lake Taupo, you’re never too far from the fun. LEGO Display
Love LEGO? Imagination becomes a reality at Mind Junction LEGO Display. Be dazzled and enjoy the journey through the themes. Our LEGO® display features hundreds of LEGO sets from over 30 years of collecting. Have a go trying to spot all the hidden LEGO characters amongst the huge display! New Zealand’s only public LEGO display, featuring trains, The Simpsons, ferris wheel, container ship, Friends and hundreds of other LEGO creations. Also remember that this activity is available in our special priced âVIP Packageâ allowing unlimited play for the day of your visit. Price: $8 per person (included in the VIP Pass from $35).
Flight Simulator
Ever wanted to pilot a plane? Have a go in Taupo’s only life-sized flight simulator. You’ll get to fly around some of the world’s most iconic cities including Las Vegas, New York, London, as well as some local favourites like Wellington and Auckland. Along with the pilot’s chair there are 2 retro Air NZ passenger seats, so you can bring your friends or family along for the ride. No training necessary. You pay for the time slot, so feel free to change pilots. Price: $25 per 10 minutes. Please Note: We may ask for a preferred time, but you can do this activity anytime on the day that you book.
Shooting Simulator
Can You Prove You’re A Top Shooter? Our Shooting Simulator boasts a whopping 15 different games that will test your shooting skills in a whole range of disciplines. Whether you feel like duck hunting, game hunting, or want to shoot at some clay targets, just pick up the rifle controller and shoot away (who knows you might even end up on the scoreboard). You pay for the time slot, so feel free to change shooters. Price: $20 per 15 minutes. Please Note: We may ask for a preferred time, but you can do this activity anytime on the day that you book.
Coffee & Gift Shop
Relax with a coffee and browse our a-maze-ing gift shopâ. After an exciting day of running around and enjoying our many activities, you’ll need a good coffee and something to nibble on from our food cabinet. The best bit is we have fresh roasted coffee beans from Taupo’s very own award-winning Sacred Grounds Coffee Roasting Company! And if you know someone who loves puzzles and games, feel free to browse the Mind Junction Activity Park gift shop, or talk to our staff about arranging a gift voucher.
