Monavale Blueberries & Cafe Irresistiblue are centrally located in the Waikato, only 10 minutes from Cambridge and 15 minutes from Te Awamutu and Hamilton Airport.

Waikato Blueberry Orchard
Monavale Blueberries is family owned and operated and is New Zealand’s largest BioGro certified organic blueberry orchard with 110 acres of fully certified crop. They have been growing organic blueberries since 1985.
The orchard is situated in the heart of the Waikato, on the Moanatuatua Plains, with views to Pirongia, Maungatautari and Kakepuku Mountains.

Cafe Irresistiblue, Cambridge
Monavale Blueberries have an award winning country cafe on their orchard – Cafe IrresistiBLUE.
The cafe is open YEAR ROUND.
The cafe seats 50 and is also available for special functions.
Come and enjoy delicious food, great drinks and fantastic views over the orchard and beyond. The focus of the cafe is on their delicious organic blueberries and organic blueberry products, as well as other products sourced organically or locally or both, where possible. There are ice-creams and anti-pasto platters for family or group get-togethers, as well as a delicious cabinet and all-day menu. The cafe is fully licensed and you can enjoy a range of local and organic beer and wine.

If you are interested in other hours for your private function or tour (including evening functions), please contact us. We can cater for up to 60 guests. We can cater for weddings, tour groups, parties and more.
ORCHARD TOURS
Monavale Blueberries offer orchard tours from October through to March. On the 30-45 minute guided walking tour you will learn about the history of Monavale Blueberries, the principles of organic blueberry growing and see how different varieties grow. You will also be able to see blueberry bushes up close and learn how blueberries get from the bush to the market. Bookings are essential. Orchard tours only available for groups of 10 guests or more.
PICK YOUR OWN BLUEBERRIES
During the months of December and January the orchard may offer Pick Your Own (PYO) fresh organic blueberries.
Monavale Blueberries’ blueberries have no chemicals, no pesticides, no herbicides, and no insecticides so you can be sure you are picking delicious, nutritious and healthy berries!
Afterwards you can enjoy delicious food, drinks and ice-creams from the orchard cafe. Makes for a great family outing.
