History
The inspiration for the Noah’s Ark name occurred after two major floods in 1989 when this place stayed dry while much of Greymouth was underwater. This solid Edwardian building provided refuge from floods and rain. Subsequently, animal themed paintings and murals were commissioned from famous NZ artists and Cartoonists to adorn each room.
