Most of our dive sites are within a comfortable 20-minute boat ride, sheltered from the weather, and accessible all-year round.
Dive the Northland Shipwrecks
Canterbury Wreck
Dive the Canterbury wreck in Maunganui Bay. Resting upright and intact at a depth of 38 meters, the wreck begins at 14 metres where abundant marine life flourishes around its exterior. Numerous openings provide wreck divers with easy access to explore its multiple decks within.
Rainbow Warrior Wreck
The Rainbow Warrior, Greenpeace’s flagship, was sunk by French saboteurs on July 10, 1985, in Auckland Harbour. Now an artificial reef in the Cavalli Islands, it hosts a diverse array of marine life and is a world-renowned dive site. The wreck rests at a maximum depth of 26 meters.

Our dive lodge is located in the Bay of Islands, central to world-class dive sites.
A welcome divers retreat, with spa pool, WiFi, home-cooked meals, and great hospitality.
A variety of accommodation options are available to groups and individual divers, suited to all budgets. Book well in advance for double and twin rooms as these get booked quickly.
Our delicious home cooked dinners, continental breakfasts, and legendary picnic lunches can be enjoyed on remote beaches around the Bay of Islands.
- Dorm. Male and female dormitory rooms have a total of 16 beds. The bottom sheet and pillowcase are supplied, just bring your sleeping bag or duvet.
- Camping. Two large camping areas surrounded by bird song and divided by a picturesque stream. One area is accessible to vehicles.
- Double. Our lodge has three double rooms with either two single beds or one king bed. All bedding linen is supplied.
- Family. The family room sleeps four: two bunk beds and one queen bed. All linen supplied.
- Twin Share. Single room with two single beds and bed-side night stand. All bed linen supplied.
- Cabins. Two cabins overlook a stream. Double glazed and air conditioned, double beds with bed-side night stands.
