Pauanui Accommodation

Our Pauanui Beach accommodation consists of 18 one and two bedroom motel units in nine cottages.

All motel units have kitchen facilities, a spacious bathroom and an open dining/lounge area.

All accommodation is well equipped with quality chattels and natural timber finishes, a home away from home.

Each Pauanui Pines Motel Unit offers: spacious functional living, all units non-smoking, microwave, cooking hob, coffee plunger, hairdryer, telephone, iron and ironing board, flat screen TV, DVD player, a complimentary DVD library at reception, electric fry pan available on request, complimentary WiFi available.

Pauanui Motel Facilities

Swimming Pool: A swimming pool is here for your enjoyment. Children must be supervised at all times. Hours are 9.00am – 8.30pm. summer. 9.30am – 6pm winter.

Spa Pool: We welcome a new facility to the motel. Book at the office. Hours 9am till 7pm. Children must be supervised. Max of 6 people per time.

Pool/Beach Towels: Pool and beach towels are stored in the bathroom of each motel unit. Please do not use bathroom towels for pool or beach.

The Cabin: This is a gathering room for groups to either enjoy a meal together or watch Sky TV.

Guest Laundry: A washing machine and dryer are available for guest use. Washing powder can be purchased from reception. Small portable washing lines are available for guest use.

Free WiFi: At Pauanui Pines we have FREE WiFi available for our guests. Please ask at reception for details!

DVD: A DVD player is supplied in your unit, also a complimentary DVD library at reception.

Tennis Court: Rackets and balls are available free of charge from the office. Pauanui Pines Motor Lodge has an Astro-Turf tennis court for guest usage.

Gas BBQs: Gas BBQs are available for guests to use, free of charge.

Car/Boat Wash: You are welcome to wash your vehicles and boats in the designated area. Water restrictions may apply at certain times of the year.

Bikes: Bikes are available free of charge to guests. Helmets are provided. A toddler seat can be hired from the office and bike locks are also available.

Office Hours: Office is open from 9am – 8pm (Summer Hours), 9am – 6pm (Winter Hours). Accounts to be settled on Check In.

Check In: Check in Times are from 2pm until 6pm unless by arrangement (fees may apply).

Check Out: Check out is by 10am unless by arrangement. (fees may apply).

Breakfast: Continental breakfasts are available delivered to your motel unit the night before. Please advise office on check in for this service.

Groups: Group and tour reservations are welcomed at our accommodation, please ask us for group special rates.

Special Rates: We offer special rates for long term stays. Please call for more information.

Wedding Venue: We offer the use of the tennis court for a wedding and have a Planner on file to make sure that your day goes smoothly.

Conferences: Pauanui Pines can organise small conferences on site from February in the new cabin. We can get catering for the event and offer the units on site here.

Pets: (small/med) dogs are allowed by prior approval only (conditions apply).

Activities and Attractions in The Coromandel

The Village Shopping Centre: Is 100 metres from Pauanui Pines Motor Lodge. The village has a supermarket, bakery, surf wear shop, woman’s clothing boutique, restaurants, takeaways, real estate offices, liquor outlet, cafe, video shop and gift shop.

Golf: Sports facilities include two 9 hole golf courses “The Pines and The Lakes”, within 5km distance is the new “Lakes Resort Pauanui” International Golf Course with superb fairways and immaculate greens.

Restaurants: A comprehensive guide to local restaurants is available in the compendium in each motel unit and advice can be given at reception.

Tairua: The ferry to Tairua is only one and a half kilometers away and provides a wonderful excursion.

Sea Activities: You can fish for Snapper, Kahawai or King Fish or game fish such as marlin and tuna are to be found in their season. Coromandel fishing trips and charters can be organised with local operators.
