Located in the heart of the breathtaking Southern Lakes region of the South Island of New Zealand, Puzzling World is set amongst 7 acres of rolling lawns, trees and gardens at the entrance to Wanaka, 2kms from the lakefront.

We are open from 9am every day. Last admission time is 4.30pm. Puzzling World is just two kilometres from Lake Wanaka and a one hour fifteen minute drive from Queenstown.
Puzzle Cafe
Puzzling World isn’t just about filling your head with conundrums, challenges and contests. With a seasonally inspired menu, the onsite café allows visitors the chance to grab a bite to eat or a drink, then engage the brain with the many individual puzzles and two-person brain teasers on offer. Trained staff are on hand to help if required! Over winter, burgers, toasties, panini’s, noodles, pasta and soup add to our pie, sandwich, slice and muffin favourites, while in summer, wraps, salad and sushi are there to help fill the belly and fire the brain. If extra ‘stimulation’ is required, barista-made coffee is also on hand to help! Group catering is available with menu plans to suit any taste and budget.

Whether it be an “Amaze-ing Race” through our Great Maze (find the 4 towers, locate the puzzle pieces and solve with your team), testing the crew on their puzzling prowess “Tantrix sets” or “Balancing Brains”, or taking a guided tour through our Illusion Rooms we have the perfect mix of activities requiring teamwork, exercise, task setting and memory games to help make a team perform.
