Embark on one of two unique eco-tour experiences. The Original and The Ultimate Canopy Tours feature a network of ziplines, swing bridges, A cliff-walk on The Ultimate Tour, tree top platforms and more which journey deep into 500 hectares of ancient forest. A uniquely intimate experience, each tour has a limit of 10 people, meaning more time with your passionate guides who are highly trained to keep you safe, make you smile and teach you amazing things as they bring the forest to life.

Our zipline guides, with their expert knowledge and Kiwi humour, ensure a safe and exhilarating adventure. We are ten years into our project of restoring 220 hectares of the native forest to pre-human existence. Canopy Tours is the only place in the world where you can stand 22 meters up a 1000-year-old native Rimu tree. The Canopy Conservation Trust powers our conservation journey.

The Original and The Ultimate Tours include:
- FREE photos are captured of each guest on tour. These photos are emailed to guests after their experience so they can enjoy their memories.
- We provide top-of-the-line wet weather gear and warm clothing to ensure our guests are dry and warm. Clients must wear closed-toe shoes suitable for walking.
- Drinking water is provided on every tour, so clients don’t need to carry their own.
- Guests will experience a firsthand look at a New Zealand conservation project and, through their entry, contribute to and become part of the conservation legacy forever.
- We have over 2.5km of exhilarating zip lines, the most of any zipline course in NZ. Our tours also showcase epic suspended swing bridges, NZ’s only cliff walk, and a controlled descent to the forest floor.
