At the southern base of the Coromandel Peninsula and bordering the Kaimai Mamaku Forest Park it is right in the heart of the pristine Waitawheta Valley, and is the perfect place to stay and relax with family or just chill out with friends for a few days.
The Log Cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and can accommodate up to 10 people in 4 large bedrooms.
An open-plan living area downstairs flows onto extensive outdoor decks, and best of all there is a hot spa for your indulgence.
With several deep swimming holes in the adjacent Waitawheta River to swim in, and a large network of well-maintained walking tracks from the boundary of the property, The Log Cabin is an excellent place to base yourselves whilst exploring the enchanting Southern Coromandel area.

The Log Cabin sits on 12 acres of lush meadow, with sheep, olives and native riverside walkways that you are free to roam at your leisure. There are a number of large swimming holes in the adjacent pristine river, and a grassed picnic area to catch some sun after a swim.
Accommodating up to 10 guests in four upstairs bedrooms, there is a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a large dining and lounge area. The upstairs bathroom features an original deep clawfoot bath and has a hand basin & toilet. The downstairs bathroom includes a toilet, shower, hand basin and washing machine.
The large kitchen is fully equipped and a great place to share a glass of wine while preparing dinner with friends and family.
The downstairs living area is open plan and warmed by a wood fire, flowing onto an extensive outdoor deck with large alfresco dining table, a beautiful inset spa pool and stunning views of the native bush and river.
Enjoy a stroll along the river, or for the more active explore the DOC walking tracks that extend from the property boundary.

The Log Cabin is surrounded by many interesting and exciting activities and adventures to explore during your stay.
There are a number of stunning walking tracks on our doorstep and we are only a few minutes drive from a great starting point to cycle the Hauraki Rail Trail.
A short drive takes you to one of our favourite award winning Restaurants, The Falls Retreat Bistro, and yoga, pottery making lessons, massage therapies and train rides are all within easy reach.
Waihi Golf Club, a wonderful par 72, golf course situated amongst beautiful lush green surroundings, is just a 12 minute drive away.
