About Woodland’s Honey
Our single source certified organic Manuka honey is proudly 100% produced, harvested, extracted, packed and labelled by hand in the Northern Coromandel, by Shayne and his dedicated team of beekeepers and honey processors.
- Extracted within hours of harvest and is not pasteurised or pressure filtered so the honey retains its natural taste, texture, enzymes and pollens.
- Great care is taken to select warm, sunny, sheltered hive sites with access to clean water for our bees.
- Our hives are located in remote sites on the Northern Coromandel Peninsula, away from industrial and intensive agricultural or horticultural production.
- Stocking rates of hives are low and set to work in harmony with surrounding ecosystem and we do not move our hives to different regions to follow different honey flows.
